Fanaat Open

What is Fanaat Open?

Fanaat Open is a bi-monthly board game day organized by board game association Fanaat. At the Fanaat Open, we provide the opportunity to everyone to stop by our club room De Drakenkelder and play games from our grand collection of games.

If a game seems interesting to you, just grab it and ask if someone wants to join. If people are setting up a game, ask if you can join it. People will be happy to explain the game’s rules to you.

General information

Games

Fanaat owns a large and ever-expanding collection of games that anyone is free to use during Fanaat Open. Of course, you are also free to bring and play a game from your own collection. You can check Fanaat’s collection here.

Food & Drinks

We have free coffee and tea available for you. Anything else, you will have to bring yourself. There is a supermarket closer than 50 meters to our location. Please note that it is not allowed to consume alcohol in De Drakenkelder.

For dinner, we usually order something from one of the restaurants in the neighbourhood. Visitors are welcome to join us in ordering and have dinner with us (at their own expense).

Other information

During Fanaat Open, visitors are guests of Fanaat. Therefore we expect everyone to act like guests and treat the board games with care.

Fanaat does not have a pin machine, so please do bring enough money for the entry fee (and dinner, should you wish to join) in cash. There is an ATM right next to the aforementioned supermarket.
